Nissans/Datsuns playday 20th Nov HDs

Hey guys
I've finally had the date confirmed for this as above the 20th of November @ Hampton Downs.

Maximum of 96 cars running in four groups of 16 so plenty of space on the track.

$90 per car and some of us will save bucket loads in fuel & accom etc compared to going to Taupo & others may be able to crash up here with mates etc.

Nissan New Zealand are right in with this event & will help us make it a bigger & better event this year.
I still have prizes left over from last year & most sponsors are keen to be involved again, I will chat with BNT who were awesome last time giving us tools etc

Today I attended the first of a few meetings we will need to make this happen & in answer to the question about the non Nissan/datsun sadly (for you) we are making this Nissan & Datsun ONLY. I can see why some will be sad about this but it will actually benefit the event in the long run & make it more spectacular for the spectators

The wheels are in motion - this is going to be HUGE!!

Hi again guys

We have been working away at planing this & setting up various things to make it all happen.

Just for now I will concentrate on the track side of things for those who are keen.

What we have done is divided the day in to two sessions, a morning & (obviously) an afternoon session.
Each will have three groups of 16 cars, each group will go out on the track for ten minutes at a time.
(We have kept it down to ten minutes as we don't want people frying brakes & tyres etc.)
In doing this we have given up to 96 people the chance to get their car out on the track & have some fun
Each car should see around an hour of track time - a fair bit of work for most cars.

Cost is $90 per car, there may be a chance to buy the other session closer to the event if there are spots available but for now at least you have to pick either morn or arvo. We are looking in to running a twilight session through till around 7PM so there may be some more time up for grabs for the super keen

At this stage we are very close to having some web pages all set up n running with more information & payment details etc.

$90 to Westpac acc 03 -1557 -0452260 - 000 use your Name as reference number.

Then Email nizfest2010@yahoo.co.nz with your car rego number, make & model & a contact phone number, Name & location (not addy just Kaimais or what ever).

Also please choose if you want to have a morning or afternoon session for the track. Please ensure you provide us with your details when payment is made - with over 100 people signing up for this we will find it extremely hard to trace random deposits

Yes if we are short on numbers we will have to let a few other brands along - maybe start with VL Holdens (RB powered ) I don't think it will come to that.
